Abstract
This research has main purpose to find the relationship between project manager leadership style and workers performance in the microculture environments. It also aims at (1) indentifying the most project manager leaderships style, and (2) correlation workers performance variables in the microculture enviroments. The respondent of this research are project manager who lives in Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor, Bandung, Semarang, Solo, Surabaya, Madiun, andBojonegoro. The data were collected from January to April 2000 by sending questionnaire project managersto project managers and it successfully obtained 27 respondents. The data were analyzed using Pearsons Correlation analysis, Kendall's W concordance analysis, and Chi-square method. The result of analysis indiceting that there is no relationship between project manager leadership style and workers performance in the microculture environment. It also shows that (1) the most project manager leaderhips style are command leadership and catalis leadership, (2) workers performance variables in microculture environments are not significantly correlated, (3) of workers performance is not influens by the microculture environments, (4) the groups of project managers base on tribe do not agree about the ranking of variables if workers performance influencing in the microculture environments.
