Teachers as an employee in a private school had an inferior position than the corporation, in this case, The Educational Host Foundation. It is reflected on the termination process. Government has regulated the protection to the teachers such as Labor Act (Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentangKetenagakerjaan) and Labor Dispute Settlement Act (Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2004 tentang Penyelesaian Perselisihan Hubungan Industrial). In fact, those regulations were not being notified by all parties and caused a lack of protection from The Educational Host Foundation for the teachers. For example, case between Yayasan Pamardi Budi Klaten (the educational host foundation) with Mrs. Sri Muji Astuti, Mrs. L. Budi Hastuti, and Mr. M. Sartana (the teachers). Therefore, the writer did research and study the protection for teachers in a private school when termination has done by the educational host foundation. Empirical Method is being used in this thesis by focusing on the people behavior (law in action). The legal sources are positive laws combined with the interview with the teachers, Yayasan Pamardi Budi Klaten and staff of Department of Man Power and Transmigration for Klaten. Glean from the research; the writer found that Yayasan Pamardi Budi Klaten had no specific labor regulations and did not implement the Labor Act. Hence, emerge some problems and violations of law when the termination of employment happens. Advices: Government should socialize the labor regulations to the educational host foundation and the teachers. The educational host foundation should have their own labor regulations and socialize it to the employees, which could make each parties being acquainted to their rights and obligations.
