Abstract

The global crisis which occurred in the period 1998-2013 also had an impact on the world economy, one of the world's oil price fluctuations are mainly in countries in the Middle East, the world's largest oil exporting country. Rising world oil prices certainly make an impact on the rising oil prices in oil importing countries, including Indonesia. Price hikes in Indonesia have an impact on Indonesia’s macroeconomic variables, which are, inflation, economic growth and currency exchange rates. High inflation can impact to the decline of the economic growth and the currency of the exchange rate of rupiahs against foreign currencies, especially dollars. The main objective of this research is to know Indonesia's macroeconomic expectations on the global financial crisis from 1998-2013 using mamdani fuzzy logic. The results of this research shows that world oil prices and oil prices of Indonesia affect on the Indonesia’s macroeconomic variables. The expectations of the results are obtained from the results of the deffuzifikasi model of mamdani fuzzy logic. Deffuzifikasi shows that in those years the greatest financial crisis of 1998 and 2007, the expectations on macroeconomic variables were far from the real value, and another years already approaching to the expectations. Thus, the expectations of the data can also be taken as a basis for decision making in Indonesia's economy.
