Abstract
This type of research is explanatory research survey aimed to analyze the influence of innovation characteristics (relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, can be tested, it can be seen) and social system (social structure, norms system, the role of leader, change agent) and a channel of communication to the adoption Technological innovation in the hand tractor cultivate farmland. Population are farmers in the district in 1742 as the East Rote with a large sample of 95 people taken by systematic random sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and partial test and simultaneous. The results of study showed that the characteristics of social systems of innovation and communication channels positively influence the adoption of hand tractors technological innovation. Variables that influence is more dominant Characteristics of innovation.
