Abstract

Franchisor and franchisee that will make an agreement should be based on Governmental Regulations Number 42, 2007 about Franchise. Most of the implementation of franchise greements contradicted with the conducted regulation. The problem in this legal writting is How the Implementation of Franchise Agreement especially in Based on Governmental Regulations Number 42, 2007 about Franchise in Melia Laundry & Dry Cleaning Yogyakarta? Empirical law of research by taking the data of the interview and library research is used to answer the problem. To analyze the data is applied inductive method. Based on the analysis, the obligation of Intcllcctual Property of Rights and establishment of franchisee by franchisor have done by the franchisor. Most of the contents of franchise agreement in Melia Laundry & Dry Cleaning Yogyakarta has fulfilled determination of Governmental Regulations Number 42, 2007, especially in act 4 and 5. However, the obligation of franchise registration has not done yet by the franchisor and franchisee. Registration of franchise offering prospectus and franchise agreement is related with the franchise registration
