Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and work engagement to organizational commitment on employee Credit Union Kasih Sejahtera Atambua . This study adapted the research conducted by Herman ( 2012 ) in Cape Town South Africa. The instrument uses the theory of organizational commitment issued by Mayer and Allen (1990 ) , using the theory of emotional intelligence instruments issued by Salovey and Meyer (1990 ) , while the instruments work using theoretical engagement issued by Schaufeli et al., ( 2006). Collecting data in this study conducted by distributing questionnaires to 66 respondents who are regular employees of the Credit Union Kasih Sejahtera Atambua Atambua . Data was collected by purposive sampling method . Multiple Linear Regression Analysis is used as a major tool in analyzing the data . The results showed emotional intelligence and work engagement have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment .
