Abstract

Illegal fishing is a classic problem often faced by countries that have a lot of beaches because the bug has been there all the time. But until now the problem of illegal fishing still can be eradicated. Indonesia is one country that has many beaches given the status of Indonesia as an archipelago. This is also make Indonesia affected by the problem of illegal fishing. Therefore, Indonesia must make efforts to solve the problem of illegal fishing. And the efforts that have been made Indonesia, among others, by issuing a ministerial decree on the national action plan to eradicate IUU fishing as well as regional cooperation with other coastal states. There is also an analysis of the Indonesian action in dealing with cases of illegal fishing that has often occurred in the Indonesian exclusive economic zone. Indonesia needs more human resources to do control the territorial waters of Indonesia and the Indonesian government's seriousness responding to the problem of illegal fishing.
