Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of employee motivation and commitment to the job satisfaction of the employees of the Regional Development Planning Board and Statistics (BAPPEDAS) in Nagekeo District. Forms of research used in this study is a survey-based research design that seeks to examine and analyze the influence between variables. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires. This study was conducted on 75 respondents who are employees or sample of the overall population of respondents. The data collection techniques done by purposive sampling method that is based on the criteria of at least high school education and a minimum of two years of work. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis. Results of regression analysis found that the motivation to work has any relationship or correlation with job satisfaction, but not very significant work motivation and job satisfaction of BAPPEDA and Statistics employees Nagekeo District. Then, the results of this study also showed that employee commitment and a significant positive effect on job satisfaction for BAPPEDA and Statistics employees in Nagekeo Distric
