Abstract

The study, entitled Formulasi Personal Branding Prabowo aims to describe and identify personal branding Prabowo formulation based on the dimensions of personal branding. This type of research is qualitative research. This type of research is descriptive. Data was collected by interview and documentation. Informants in this study were social psychologists, communication specialists, management expert and author of Personal Branding, The results of data analysis in this study obtained formulation Prabowo personal branding following; (1) Specialization: Expertise Prabowo is in the military, but is untested skills. Prabowo has a firm but he does not have the ability to manage a company. (2) Leadership: Prabowo leadership style reflects the benevolent-authoritative system and authoritarian. (3) Personality: Prabowo has an angry or temperamental personality, ambitious, assertive nature, fast and speak frankly. Prabowo with bipolar disorder, delusions of grandeur and delusions pursuit. (4) Difference: personally Prabowo has a strong personality to what he wants to accomplish. Prabowo has enormous economic capital, but when all was not in accordance with the vision and mission will be use less because it is not able to win the heart of the community. Mistakes made by Prabowo was the message he wanted to convey was not until in the community. (5) Visibility: Prabowo smart in dealing with situations that could make him go up. However, he was very careless in the face of a problematic situation or that makes him fall. (6) Unity: personal branding Prabowo has unity, which refers to his background. (7) Determination: Prabowo very consistent in maintaining branding, but when the situation is not siding with him, then his determination began to falter so he is not consistent anymore. (8) Good Name: Prabowo portray himself that he was a hero of the days of the new order. However, it is only the last before the 2014 presidential election, because when recapitulation is not over Prabowo resign. It then made his reputation ruined.
