Abstract
The research about evaluation of potential furniture market expansion from Indonesia to Germany, a study in Moodlines, Jogjakarta has been done. Research variables that were used in this research are design, tree species, price, practicality, and green attributes. Germany was chosen because Germany is one of the the biggest destination countries for furniture export in the world. This research analyzes whether the company (Moodlines) will be able to expand their furniture product to Germany. This research used qualitative method with content analysis and industry competition analysis by Porter. In this research, statements from a company which often exported its furniture products to Germany and a company which often exported its handycraft product to Germany as market informant in Germany were used. A wide variety of journals related to the analysis was used as additional information. From this research the result was showed that Moodlines will be able to expand their product to Germany with adjustment.
