Abstract

Legal writing / thesis entitled: "The Role of Profession and Security (Propam) Code Enforcement Police in the area of professional conduct in Yogyakarta national police". Problem formulation of this research is How Efforts Security Profession (Propam) Yogyakarta local police in the enforcement of the police code of professional conduct in Yogyakarta and What obstacles encountered Security Professional (Propam) Yogyakarta local police in the enforcement of the police code of professional conduct in Yogyakarta. This study aimed to, Knowing and analyze efforts Security Professional (Propam) Yogyakarta local Police Enforcement Code of professional conduct and the police in Yogyakarta Knowing and analyzing the constraints faced Security Professional (Propam) Yogyakarta local police in the enforcement of the police code of professional conduct in Yogyakarta. In the enforcement of the police code of professional conduct in Yogyakarta, Security Profession (Propam) Yogyakarta local police, in this field and the security profession Yogyakarta local police have made efforts in the form of processing 18 violations of the Ethics codes of POLRI happened and performed by members of the police in charge of the Police in Yogyakarta area during the year 2014. Of the total violations were 9 cases have been decided by siding Commite Police Code and 9 others are still in process. Police Code violation indicates that enforcement Police Code as regulated state police chief republic Indonesia Number 14 of 2011 has not been fully executed by members of the police in the jurisdiction of Police Yogyakarta area. This condition indirectly suggests that the function of internal control by the Police Sector profession and regional security has not been implemented optimally Yogyakarta.
