Abstract

This research explains about the guidance of the children who use narcotics in Tangerang Correctional Facility for Children which the amount of it increases every year. The purposes of this research are to know and to find data and informations about the guidance that are apllied to the children who use narcotics in Tangerang Correctional Facility for Children. The method uses empirical law researh method which focuses on social facts. This research uses interview, questionnaire, and direct observation to collect data and informations. The results of this research are: first, there are no differences guidance between the children who use narcotics and the children who commit another crime; second, the guidance for children who use narcotics are appropriate to Law of The Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 1995 concerning Correctional but they are not appropriate to Law of The Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning Children Protection because Tangerang Correctional Facility for Children doesn’t provide rehabilitation facility for children who use narcotics.
