Abstract

Writing the Final form of Conceptual Planning and Design Platform is focused on Redesign Dormitory of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University in Sleman. Selection is based on the typology of residential needs is not worth going to the availability of land for residential functions and its more expensive price so Dormitory was chosen as the target typology this writing. Redesign of the Dormitory of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University itself because existing Dormitory yet provide the capacity and facilities memadahi for prospective residents. The cornerstone of Conceptual Planning and Design is focused on analysts and the concept of a form of redesigning the order of interior and exterior of the building Dormitory of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University in Sleman are able to accommodate functions of residential, social, and education of students according to the vision and mission of the University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta based approach Behavioral achitecture, where the behavior of occupants will affect the formation of architectural space. So that through this Conceptual Platform can generate the design concept of a dormitory that is not facilitating the need for shelter, but also social needs, and education to achieve the noble values of the University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta is superior, inclusive, humanist, and integrity.
