Abstract

This undergraduate thesis mainty discusses about Accessibility and Fulfillment of Rights for Person with Disabilities. Research question was primarily concerned by facts in the field wich shows most of Transjogja Bus shelters are seemingly not providing adequate facilities for persons with disabilities. This research conducts quantitative research method and normative law research, in which data research were obtaind through interview and literature studies. Results of this research indicates that Government of the city has actually had plans to provide accessibility for society in general, without leaving persons with disabilities behind. How ever the implementation still faces many obstades. So that its utilization is not going as it is supposed to be. Obstades are targely coming out from problems of inadequate lard availability for constructing standard shelter that could facilitate for instance wheelchair users. Hence, in order to overcome the problem, government should undertake land acquisition system to provide disable-friendly bus shelters.
