Abstract

Indonesian National Army (TNI) is a soldier who are trained, educated, and prepared for battle or war. So, there are special rules for Indonesian National Army. The soldiers should be submissive and obedient to the rules that have been determined, whose implementation is closely monitored. For national defense, Indonesian National Army as a shield and protect Indonesia from military threats to sovereignty, territory, safety of the nation, and restitution against turmoil or disorder. Indonesian National Army should be able to maintain the sovereignty of the country, the system of command should be maintained, its means that a subordinate has an obligation to respect a superior or official orders. However, practically, an action against a superior committed by a subordinate might happen. Action against superior that committed by a subordinate in the military are called insubordination.
