Abstract

The title of this thesis is: Attributes of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Before And After The Enactment Of Law No. 40 Of 2007, A Case Study In. PT. Angkasa Pura (Persero) In Yogyakarta. Corporate Social Responsibility was known in world-wide since 1950 as a voluntary performance. The concept of CSR also can’t be separated from the Good Corporate Governance (GCG) which in one of its principle was responsibility to the stakeholders. In Indonesia, by the enactment of Law No. 40 of 2007, the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that was voluntary became mandatory. This Governmental action cause many consequences to companies in Indonesia. According to the Article 74 Law No. 40 of 2007, Companies doing business in the field of and/or in relation to natural resources must put into practice environmental and Social Responsibility and the company which fail to perform it shall be imposed with sanction in accordance with the provision of regulation. Because of the enactment, companies included State-owned Enterprises (SOE) give more attention to CSR. The concept of CRS also being refined as the time goes by. Today, it is not enough for a company to just give a charity type CSR but according to the modern type of CSR, the company must make the CSR becoming a sustainability development. To see the effect of the enactment of Law No. 40 of 2007 to the companies in Indonesia, researcher does normative legal research. The Normative legal research is the study of law by performing a process of abstraction through deduction norms of positive law in the form of systematization of law and legal sync vertically and horizontally and assess the positive law to the issues concerning CSR forms before and after the enactment of Law no.40 of 2007 by researching the implementation of CSR at PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) in Jogjakarta.
