Abstract

Diversion is a new method in solving criminal offenses committed by children. Law No. 11 Year 2012 on Juvenile Justice System confirms that law enforcement officials, especially the public prosecutor shall seek diversion of children in conflict with the law. Data obtained in Magelang District Attorney very little, but can describe how it was diversion process and implementation of the child offender. The process diversions in Magelang District Attorney under Article 8, Article 9, Article 42 of Law Number 11 Year 2012 on Child Criminal Justice System. The process of diversion in its application is to bring victims, families of victims, perpetrators, the perpetrator's family, as well as the chairman of the neighborhood (RT, RW), teacher BK, BAPAS and Social Protection Homes for Children (RSPA).
