Abstract

The thesis titled “RELASING RESEAARCH DATA CUSTOMER BY THE PRESS BASED ON BANK CONFIDENTIALITY PRINCIPLE” with research question is whether the action of press that expose customer data and their savings violate the principle of confidentiality of bank stipulated in law No 10 of 1998. The purpose of research is analyze the action of press the expose customer data and their violation of bank secrecy principle stipulated in law No 10 of 1998 or not. the type of research in this thesis is a normative legal research. Normative legal research is a research to examine the implementation of positive law. The action conductedby the press based on constitution No 40 of 1999 and constitution No 10 of 1998 is not a violation of the principle of bank secrecy
