Abstract

This research entitled the effectiveness of chemical sanction in the prevention of sexual crimes in Yogyakarta Special Region. Effectiveness of chemical sanction in the prevention of sexual crimes against children in special areas yogyakarta Based on the discussion that chemical sanction contained in PERPPU No.1 Year 2016 About Second Amendment of Law Number 23 Year 2002 About Child Protection which now has become Law Number 17 Year 2016 on Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 1 of 2016 on the Second Amendment of Law Number 23 Year 2002 regarding Child Protection becomes ineffective law in prevention of sexual crimes that occurred in Special Region of Yogyakarta since chemical sanction Valid and enacted on 25 May 2016 then the number of sexual crimes that occurred not much different at the time before the chemical sanctions apply.
