Abstract
Thestudyisaimedtodiscoverandobtainthedataoncrimereductionpoliciestosupporttheeffecti venessofterrorismlawsontheeradicationofterrrism.Thisresearchismorefocusedoneffortsthatshould bemadeforhandlingterrorisminIndonesiahasbecomeeffective. Thisresearchisusingnormativelegalmethodthatfocusesonthenorm(lawinthebook)andrequir essecondarydata(legalmaterials)astheprimarydata.Thenuseanalysisqualitativedataanalysisusingqu alitativemeasures.Theprocessofreasoningindrawingconclusionsisusingdeductivereasoningmethod ,themethodofinferencewhichisbasedonthegeneralpropositionwhosetruthisknownorbelievedanden dsattheconclusionofaspecialnature. Basedontheanalysisandresultsofresearchthathasbeendone,thendrawntheconclusionthateffo rtstocontrolterrorismwithcriminalpolicyshouldbepursuedthroughpoliciesthatareintegralbetweenpe naladnon-penalpolicy.Beforetheintegration,firstcarriedoutrepairsoneffortstopenalandnon-penal.
