Abstract

The title of this legal research is implementation the victims protection of persecution in the process of investigation in Yogyakarta. This legal research methodology is empirical methods. The problem in this legal reseach is how to is implement the victims protection of persecution in the process of investigation in Yogyakarta and the obstacle in providing the victims protection against of persecution. The purpose of legal research is to find out how the implementation the victims protection of persecution in the process of investigation in Yogyakarta and to know the obstacle in providing legal protection for victims of persecution. The legal research concluded that the victims protection of persecution in the process of investigation in Yogyakarta is given Yogyakarta Provincial Police, Legal Aid and Consultation Center UAJY, and Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Rekso Dyah Utami in the form of complaint post, the settlement of the case at the stage of investigation and investigation quickly , providing information, providing legal advice, mentoring, counseling, referrals to providing shelter or safe house. The obstacles aren’t having broad authority, the victims aren’t cooperative, don’t believe in law enforcement officers and financing budget is limited.
