Abstract

The title of this legal research is Application of the Penal Law against Typosquatting in E-Banking Transactions in Indonesia. The Problem is how to Apply Penal Law to Typosquatting in E-Banking Transactions in Indonesia. The purpose legal research is to know the Application of Penal Law against Typosquatting in E-Banking Transactions in Indonesia. Normative Type of legal research with data collection process through reading and taking notes from books, documents, literature, legal regulations, and interview. The Conclusion is implementation of Penal Law against Typosquatting in E-Banking Transactions in Indonesia can be applied to overcome these typosquatting crimes such as Article 263-276 of the Criminal Code on falsification of letters, Articles 363-365 of the Criminal Code on theft, Articles 378- 396 of the Penal Code on fraud, Article 23 paragraph (1) and (2), Article 28 paragraph (1), Article 45 paragraph (2) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 Year 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions, Articles
