Abstract

Pangkalan Bun city District West Kotawaringin Central Borneo Province is a District which is still continuously doing development activities, both in urban infrastructure sector, agriculture, plantation, fishery, and also in tourism sector. The river in West Kotawaringin regency is a source of community life around river banks. People around the river Arut river which is the name of the river utilize the river to meet daily needs, such as bathing, washing clothes and looking for sources of life such as fishing or fishing. This of course needs more attention for the government to keep the river so as not to be polluted and damaged, either intentional or unintentional. The Arut River becomes the driving force of the economic, social, cultural and other sectors of Bumi Marunting Batu Aji (nickname Kobar).
