Abstract
The child is the future of this nation and country, hence the child is entitled to protection both from parents, family, society, government and state. Students who belong to the category of children are entitled to the same rights. Therefore, the police have the duty as law enforcement officers, public order guards and society servant. The police also have to do special handling for cases of student mischief. There are two efforts, in handling cases of delinquency of students in the city of Yogyakarta, namely preventive and repressive efforts.
