Abstract

Legal Aspect Flood control due to environmental damage in Katingan Regency. The occurrence of deforestation or reduced land cover due to human activities that resulted in flooding in the rainy season, this study was conducted to determine the effort to control environmental damage due to flooding in Katingan regency, and to know the obstacles and solutions in the effort of control. environmental damage caused by flooding in Katingan. This research is normative law research. From the results of the study the authors found there are many unauthorized mining and plantation business activities, lack of awareness of the environment and government that are less stringent in implementing the policy.
