Abstract
One of the interesting things is criminal acts committed by students, as one of the human actions that deviate from social norms in society. There has been Lately frequent criminal acts committed by students in District of the Aru Islands. Student crime acts include brawl. This study aims to know the effort of district police in Aru Islands in tackling the brawl conducted by students in District of Aru Islands district. This study uses normative research and literature. The data used is the primary legal materials consisting of the 1945 Constitution of the State of the Republic of Indonesia, Police Law No. 2 of 2002 on the Indonesian National Police, Criminal Code (KUHP), MPR RI Decree No. VI / MPR / 2000 on the Separation of Indonesian National Army And Police of the Republic of Indonesiaas well as secondary data which consists of books, journals, theses, Internet-related research topics. The efforts has been made by the police are from Satbinmas (Community Guidance Unit) where every week they dosocialization of activities and do inspections in schools as well as from Satsabahra (Satuan Samapta Bhayangkara) also patrols to comb the places where many gathering of students.
