Abstract

The juvenile as part of young generation are the heirs of national struggling wish and human resources to national development. The deviation of behavior or legal violating act either to the legal order or the regulations, thus the juvenile has become both social and legal problem. Various shapes of behavior deviation of juvenile delinquency had increase of which has potential to the criminal action likes the juvenile conduct any indecent behavior. Deviation of criminal action whose perpetrator is juvenile needs to get particular treatment. The procedure implemented to the juvenile conducting criminal action by violation implemented procedure of which aims to the juvenile beneficence. This legal writing entitled: “The Investigation towards Juvenile as Indecent Behavior Perpetrator in Legal Area of Municipal Police Office of Yogyakarta” aimed to comprehend the implementation of investigation towards the juvenile as perpetrator of indecent behavior as well as to comprehend the barriers faced by investigator in conducting investigation towards the juveniles as perpetrator of indecent behavior. The research used was normative legal research, i.e. a research studying on valid positive legal norm, by shape of regulation concerned to the investigation of juvenile. From the result of this research it can be concluded the protection towards the juvenile as perpetrator of indecent behavior has been appropriate to the laws. In this case there are no barriers faced on the ground the medium and prerequisite had been fulfilled yet. The suggestion submitted from this legal writing is the investigator towards provides maximal protection towards the juvenile as perpetrator of indecent behavior in order the juvenile is keep fulfilled and in this matter provides protection towards the children as perpetrator of indecent behavior. The availability of particular investigation space is no merely in Municipal Police Office of Yogyakarta, instead should exist in other police office in order the juvenile feel comport and secured while the investigation being conducted.
