Abstract

Transvestites have their point of view if it is connected with the same rights that they wanted to be treated as a normal person and get all the forms of protection of human rights for germafroditov. This study aims to determine to what extent the efforts to provide other forms of protection of human rights provided for in the travestis in the State of Indonesia. This research for organizing the drafting of the law / thesis is the NGO KEBAYA, Jln Gowongan Lor JT III/148 Yogyakarta. Research was conducted using empirical, methods from a list of questions and interviews the President and founder of the NGO KEBAYA shemales are prepared in such manner expected an image that is moving towards the goal of the research, with interviews with specialists and respondents with a population of 17 people and offers library for later analysis. Results showed that transsexuals have got the protection of human rights, but not yet implemented with the maximum, because there is no regulation that recognizes the existence of transvestites People. The forms of protection obtained by the transvestites get health care, decent jobs, access to justice services, and public service.
