Abstract

This research entitled ’’Perlindungan Hukum Tehadap Konsumen Garam Konsumsi Berdasarkan Pada Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan Nomor 125 Tahun 2015 Tentang Ketentuan Impor Garam’’, was motivated by the vialations committed by business actors especiall PT. Garam in the import of consumable salt. The legal issued raised is how does Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan Nomor 125 Tahun 2015 tentang Ketentuan Impor Garam provide legal protection for consumers of consumable salt? The types of this research is Normative Research that focuses on the legislation. The research finding the concluded that preventive legal protection provided by the government towards salt consumers was protected by the existence Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan Nomor 125 Tahun 2015 tentang Ketentuan Impor Garam. Normatively, it can be seen through a policy perspective that has been stated in the Act. If viewed from a policy point of view made by the Minister, the same tariff from consumption salt and industrial salt will be a contradiction with the applicable Law.
