Abstract

Act of violence is a serious social problem. Additionally violence is a type of crime that often occur in society and can happen to anyone, but much less attention from both the public and law enforcement. So also in Indonesia, violent acts often occur because of patriarchal culture, where women are inferior and mans are superior, it can also mean a man is superior to all aspects related to the violence that occurred in the courtship is an act that is considered not unusual, because a couple to take actions that are considered harmful and bring misery to their partners that there is no lawful bond or bonds of marriage. Physical violence in courtship is very clearly not worth it, but the fact remains that many couples have done in the courtship of physical violence on her partner. Many factors led to no detection of physical violence in courtship, among others, the victims still want a partner even though it has frequently partner physical violence, victims feel ashamed when reporting themselves as victims of violence in courtship, the victim is also the victim was threatened by a partner so as not to reported the violence to the authorities. The authors proposed objective is to find out How Implementation of Legal Protection For Physical Violence Against Women In The City Dating in Yogyakarta? The study authors regarding the Implementation of Legal Protection of Physical Violence Against Women Up In The Dating in the city of Yogyakarta is the dissemination and extension of law to the interior areas that are less to educate about the importance of law. Besides the law enforcement agencies are also thirsty assist, protect and provide justice for women as victims of physical violence in courtship to women their rights actually protected by law.
