Abstract

Sexual violence against women is one of the crime in a community were conducted by a person, which is his actions had violated of the human rights and violated the provisions of criminal law prevailing, as well as lead to material losses, suffering, discomfort, and psychic trauma of women who are victims. The writing of this thesis to know the rights are owned by women as victims and knowing about fulfillment of women’s rights as a victim of sexual violence in the public sphere in the process of investigation.Research methods the writing do is normative legal research that focuses on the norms positive law, in the form of legislations about the fulfillment women’s rights as a victim of sexual violence in the public sphere.Women as a victim of sexual violence in the public sphere have the rights as regulated in the legislations. The fact thatthe realization of the fulfillment of the victims does not work in accordance with the law. Not only the problems of the type of services provided the investigation team but also problem procedures and facilities owned by investigation team an obstacle in the fulfillment of the victim’s rights.
