Abstract

This legal writing is titled Efforts to Police the Special Region of Yogyakarta in Overcoming Crime of Persecution Conducted by the Debt Collector. Where the writing of this law aims to seek Efforts made by the Yogyakarta Special Region Police and the Effectiveness of the Criminal Actions of Abuse Performed by the Debt Collector. The type of writing used in writing this law is the writing of empirical law. In this Legal Research the author has conducted interviews with members of the Yogyakarta Special Region Police, especially in the Department of Detective. The method of analysis in writing this law is qualitative analysis, namely systematic scientific research on parts and phenomena and their relationships and then secondary data is collected by library research. From the results of the research conducted by the author, it is known that in carrying out the efforts made by the Yogyakarta Special Police to deal with the persecution carried out by the debt collector in Yogyakarta, the Pre-Emptive Efforts, Preventive Efforts and Repressive Efforts. The efforts carried out by the Yogyakarta Special Region Police have been effective because of the reduction in criminal acts of abuse committed by the Debt Collector in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
