Abstract

The method used is empiris from this study. Police according to Article 1 number 1 of Law No. 2 of 2002 concerning the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia, the police are all matters relating to police functions and institutions in accordance with the laws and regulations. Police in the Tunontaka Nunukan Port Sector Area have made creative innovations which together with the community have succeeded in building tools to control the rate and reduce crime rates in the region 18, even this breakthrough is based on the National Police Program in the direction established in the Grand Strategy of the National Police, starting phase I Trust Building, Phase II Partnership Building, until now phase III strive for Excellence is making efforts to lead to Excellence. Warung Kamtibmas, which has succeeded in making an area that is free from all forms of crime, is an achievement that deserves to be a model for other police officers in Nunukan to imitate the success of this warung kamtibmas.
