Abstract
Violence is one of the criminal act forms that were developed in society. Violence is an arbitrary act that carried out by someone to harm other people, both physically and psychologically. When there was a "child" who commits a crime, Indonesia as a state of law will follow up on the child's actions through the legal process as well. The purpose of writing this research was to found out and analyzed police actions in investigated perpetrators of violent crimes that cause child deaths and constraints related to investigations of perpetrators of violent crimes that cause child deaths. This research used normative methods that focused on secondary data as the main data and primary data as supporting data. The results of this research were directed to finding out if there are other people that were involved in this case, which is the boyfriend who impregnates Ismi who can be subject to obscene acts. There are no obstacles related to investigating the perpetrators of a violent criminal act that cause child deaths. But one of the problem in the investigation was there is no guardianship from the child victims of the violent criminal act to requested the restitution.
