Abstract

This thesis is to discover the impact of CAFTA on the domestic industri, with many significant differential in economic of many country, which caused by different natural resources and human resources, so make each country must survive. The background of the problem in this thesis is the participation of Indonesia in the international trade agreements with ASEAN members countries and China. Governments have goals and expectations of Indonesia's participation in ACFTA, like expecting a poor community, can easily get their goods that important and more cheaply and get better quality. Hope the perpetrators of domestic industry, be able to develop products become more good and expected some new industry players so reducing unemployment. Since the entry into force of ACFTA, there’s some positive impact and negative impact to the advancement of the domestic industrial product in goods, the negative impact, which is seen, changes the society lifestyle becomes more consumtive. There are some government’s effort to give the legal protection to the domestic industrial’s product in goods, such as standardisasi program, HKI, KPPI and anti-dumping solution, but, the government must run this things seriously, so these can be affective.
