Abstract
This research is entitled analysis of endorser's responsibility for consumer losses due to misleading information on skin whitening products advertised through social media instagram. The purpose of this study is to determine endorser's responsibility for consumer losses due to misleading information about skin whitening products advertised through Instagram social media. This research is normative legal research. Based on the analysis that has been explained, it can be concluded that endorsers are jointly responsible for the losses suffered by consumers because of misleading information about advertising skin whitening products displayed through Instagram social media and consumers can demand compensation based on illegal actions based on Article 1365 Civil Code and Article 20 Consumer Protection Law.
