Abstract

Judg es in indonesia are the law enforcement agencies have a duty to prosecute, disconnect, and resolve a matter in court. of the many things that were tried and resolved in the courts, of which there is a moral crisis that concerns namely about the pimp of prostitution is a criminal offence. Pimp prostitution itself is set up in the legislation of the Criminal Code Article 296 and 506. the article used by the judges in meting out the verdict against pimp prostitution. but in dropping the award judges has considerations that should be considered before dropping the verdict. Thus the writer wanted to know what being a consideration of judges in meting out the verdict against pimp prostitution. research methods used in this research is the study of normative data with means obtained from the legislation and interviews with the speakers to find out the answer to these problems. Of research results obtained the conclusion that considerations made by the judge in dropping an award against a pimp prostitution is to consider things such as deeds, criminal records, impact, age, gender, and social life in the community.
