Abstract
Terrorism is acting of using violence or violence intimidation that caused terror situation or fear, which can victim effect, massive, and/or destruction effect or destruction of the vital object that strategic, environment, public and international facility with ideology target, politic, or security problem. Overcoming terrorism action in Indonesia doing by deradicalism, have done by terrorism prisoners. Meanwhile anticipation and handling of terrorism programme by BNPT through deradicalism, in fact still not maximum. So, the title of this thesis “Pelaksanaan Deradikalisasi terhadap narapidana Terorisme di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Kedung Pane Semarang” with matter formulation, how deradicalism processing with first grade Penitentiary terrorism prisoners in Kedung Pane, Semarang. To response the matter formulation, author use normative observation methodology. Based on the observation, that can be concluded that; Penitentiary never put deradicalism terminology, but still use character building terminology. The character building terminology used to all prisoners include terrorism prisoners. Fase of terrorism prisoners character building in first grade penitentiary (Kedung Pane) consistent based on chapter 43D verse (4) Regulations number 5, 2018 about amandement of Regulations number 15, 2018 about eradication criminal act of terrorism. That character building consist of 4 step, namely identification and evaluation, rehabilitation, re-education, and social re-integration.
