Abstract

This study discusses the legal aspects of Waste Management in the Asphalt Factory of Selo Progo Sakti as an Effort to Prevent Environmental Pollution in Klaten Regency. There is a problem with the establishment of the Selo Progo Sakti factory, which is that the local community feels uneasy due to the impact caused by the asphalt factory. This study aims to determine the management of Selo Progo Sakti asphalt plant waste as an effort to prevent environmental pollution in the district of Klaten and its constraints and solutions. This study uses empirical research focused on social facts or an analysis of the findings of the literature. Based on data analysis that the management of Selo Progo Sakti asphalt plant waste as an effort to prevent environmental pollution in Klaten Regency is in accordance with Government Regulation No.41 of 1999 concerning Air Pollution Control and to the constraints in asphalt manufacturing activities only focus on wind factors and the solution that the parties Selo Progo Sakti factory in the process of making asphalt more attention to the condition of the wind blown
