Abstract
This thesis discusses the unsynchronization of Financial Services Sector Dispute Resolution Requirements in POJK Number 1 / POJK.07 / 2013 and POJK Number 1 / POJK.07 / 2014. Normative research that focuses on legal norms such as laws and regulations. This thesis was written to find out and examine the consequences of asynchronous dispute resolution requirements between Consumers and Financial Services Business Actors in the Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 1 / POJK.07 / 2013 concerning Consumer Protection of the Financial Services Sector with Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 1 / POJK.07 / 2014 concerning Alternative Institutions for Settlement of Disputes in the Financial Services Sector with regard to OJK's objective in protecting the interests of Consumers and the public. This unsynchronization has the consequence that dispute resolution between the Consumer and Financial Services Business Actors in the fields of Banking, Capital Market, Pension Funds, Life Insurance, Financing, Mortgage Companies, or Guarantees with nominal disputes above Rp. 500,000,000 and secrecy between Consumers and Financial Service Business Actors above Rp 750,000,000.00 in the General Insurance field must be settled first in the Financial Services Authority in accordance with Article 2 paragraph (1) .POJK Number 1 / POJK.07 / 2014. Based on POJK Number 1 / POJK.07 / 2013 Article 41 states that disputes in the fields of Banking, Capital Market, Pension Funds, Life Insurance, Financing, Mortgage Companies, or Guarantees at most Rp. 500,000,000 and General Insurance at most Rp. 750,000,000.
