Abstract
The slaughterhouse industry, fishery and livestock service in Temanggung regency. Has benefits for the needs of beef for the community. But there are problems related to the disposal of waste which caused pollution to the Pacar river water. The legal issue raised in this study are about how to manage slaughterhouse waste and what obstacles are faced with regard to waste management.This research uses empirical legal research focusing on social fact. Based on facts the management of slaughterhouse waste is still very simple. This makes the results of waste management not optimal, due to the absence of a standardized waste management system and a lack of attention from the central government. The management of the slaughterhouse and the central government pay attention to the management of waste in slaughterhouses, so as not to harm the community.
