Abstract

Pundong District is in the southeast of Bantul Regency and is one of the areas that has the potential for disasters in Bantul Regency. Disasters that often occur in Pundong sub-district are floods and landslides. Natural disasters that occur can damage the surrounding natural environment, therefore spatial planning of an area must regulate environmental preservation and disaster risk management. Therefore, environmental preservation and disaster risk management must refer to regional regulation number 4 of 2011 on regarding the regional spatial plan of Bantul Regency in 2010-2030. Based on this, the study is entitled "Environmental Conservation and Disaster Risk Management Based on Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2011 on Regarding Spatial Planning for Bantul Regency in 2010-2030 in Pundong District, Bantul Regency". This study aims to determine whether the environmental conservation and disaster risk management in Pundong sub-district is in accordance with regional regulation number 4 of 2011 on Regarding Spatial Planning for Bantul Regency in 2010-2030 and the obstacles that occur in carrying out environmental conservation and disaster risk management in Pundong sub-district . This research uses empirical methods that focus on social facts. The empirical method is done by collecting primary and secondary data using interviews with informants and literature. The existence of zoning regulations regulated in article 73 paragraph (12) of Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2011 on concerning the Spatial Planning for Bantul Regency 2010-2030, concerning zoning regulations for protected areas against disaster prone areas relating to environmental conservation and disaster risk management it has not been fully implemented in Pundong Subdistrict, it has not yet fully used the spatial use control strategy by considering the characteristics, types and threats of disasters.
