Abstract
This study discusses the Implementation of Government Regulation Number 18 Year 2016 Regarding Regional Apparatuses on the Formation of Regional Apparatuses of Mahakam Ulu Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The formation of regional apparatus organizations is determined by regional regulations as applicable provisions (government regulations), intended so that the formation and preparation of regional apparatus organizations can consider the conditions and potential of the region in order to acilitate the implementation of regional autonomy as an effort to empower autonomous regions so that regions can further improve services and public welfare. This study aims to find out how the implementation of Government Regulation Number 18 of 2016 concerning Regional Apparatuses towards the establishment of Regional Apparatuses in Maham Ulu Regency, East Kalimantan Province and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses normative research that focuses on legislation and literature studies. This study also uses a deductive method in drawing conclusions. Based on data analysis that the formation of the Regional Apparatus of the Mahakam Ulu Regency is running smoothly and on time and there are many adjustments that must be made with the addition of the Regional Apparatus, and the form of PP No. 18 of 2016 concerning Regional Apparatuses by the Regional Government of Mahakam Ulu Regency is manifested in Regional Regulation Number 14 of 2016 concerning Formation and Composition of Regional Apparatus and Regulations of Regent Number 27 of 2017 concerning Amendment to Regulations of District Number 27 of 2016 concerning Organizational Structure and Work Procedures of Regional Apparatuses.
