Abstract

The title of this legal writing is Legal Certainty Agreement of Learning Guidance Institutions for English Language Students (Case Study at Rumah Inggris Jogja). Rumah Inggris Jogja (RIJ) is a boarding-based course institution that offers various English language tutoring programs to english language students. RIJ guarantees free repetition of many times or lifetime to fluently in english, and offers free camp programs for english language students. The purpose of this study is to find out Legal Certainty of the Agreement for Services for Study Guidance Institutions for English Language Students (Case Study at Rumah Inggris Jogja). The research method used in this study is empirical research methods that focuses on social facts in the form of legal certainty of agreements of learning guidance intitutions for english language students at RIJ. The results of this research is Legal Certainty Agreement of Learning Guidance Institutions for RIJ students not in accordance with the provisions contained in Article 6 and 7 of Act Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. The clause about being able to return free until fluently in english as well as the free camp not explained further. However, in the english language students charge administrative fees and not all programs get free camp facilities. Therefore authors suggest that RIJ must explain further about the agreement clause and the terms and conditions included.
