Abstract
The title of this legal research is the legal protection of victims in the process of investigating suspects of embezzlement. Research methods are normative methods. The problem in this legal research is how to protect the victims in the process of investigating suspects of embezzlement and what hinders the protection of victims. And the purpose of this legal research is to know the protection of victims of embezzlement at the stage of investigation and to find out which impedes the protection of victims of embezzlement. The conclusion of this legal research is that the protection of victims at the stage of investigation of embezzlement of criminal acts has been regulated in legislation, there are institutions that function to protect victims, only the need for better application. Hindrances in the form of a lack of understanding relating to the rights of victims, a difficult bureaucracy, LPSK is only in Jakarta, the victim's ignorance about the stages to obtain protection
