Abstract
Trade secret is a form of food recipe security which is regulated in Law No. 30 of 2000. This thesis aims to find out the prospect of the Geprek bu made chicken trade secret. The research method used is empirical legal research with primary data as the main data. The results of the research show that trade secrets will be kept confidential if they meet the requirements for confidential information, have economic value, and are kept confidential through proper efforts that Geprek Bu Made Chicken has met the requirements to fulfill the prospect of trade secrets in the future because it meets the requirements. to be said to be a trade secret.
