Abstract
The writing of this law is entitled Implementation of the Transfer of Function of Agricultural Land to Non-Agriculture for the Construction of Student Castle Apartments in Sleman Regency. The problem in writing this law is that agricultural land which is a livelihood for farmers is increasingly being converted to build infrastructures such as the Student Castle Apartment in Sleman Regency. In fact, agricultural land being converted to the construction of this apartment could have an impact on rice production in the area. This legal writing uses empirical legal research by focusing on existing social facts, direct interviews with informants to obtain primary data and also by collecting secondary data consisting of primary and secondary legal materials. For the data analysis, it is concluded that the inductive method is being used. It concludes that the construction of the Student Castle Apartement is in accordance with the provisions of the legislation and its construction is in accordance with the spatial layout in Sleman Regency.
