Abstract

The objectives of the thesis entitled Law Enforcement by the Environmental Agency on Pollution Due to Garbage in Purworejo Regency are to determine law enforcement against environmental polluters in Purworejo Regency and also to find out what obstacles occur in enforcing the law against environmental polluters in Purworejo Regency. This type of research used in this thesis is empirical legal research, this thesis also used primary data that consisting of direct interviews with sources in the environmental service and respondents consisting of market heads and market traders and secondary data that consist of the results of a review of the literature or a review of the literature relating to the problem or the research material. This thesis uses data collection by interviewing sources, respondents as well as literature study and the research location is located in Purworejo district. This thesis also uses a descriptive analytical research method. The research results that the law enforcement by the environmental service due to waste in Purworejo district usually uses administrative penalties in the form of a written warning letter and very few regulations governing.
