Abstract
This research on compensation for the community due to sand mining activities in Hargobinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency, aims to analyze the implementation of compensation for the community due to the negative impact of sand mining activities in Hargobinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency. This research was conducted based on an intensive, detailed and indepth field study related to the implementation of sand mining activities in Hargobinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which describes the actual and actual anti-loss and mining management in Hargobinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency. The results of the research on compensation for compensation in Hargobinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency have not been fully implemented due to many factors, namely: mining actors who do not have permits so they do not have an understanding of compensation and lack of supervision from related agencies.
