Abstract

The title of the legal research is responsibility contractor delayed in completing construction work due to pandemic covid – 19. The whole world including Indonensia is in the emergency period of the pandemic covid – 19. During the emergency period of the pandemic covid – 19, the impact was very massive on all sectors, including the contraction sector. Development must continue amid the pandemic covid - 19 due to contract demand that have been agreed by the parties. Many problems arise with this situation on of which is the period of the final contruction work. The purpose of the research is to investigate the responsibility contractor delayed in completing construction work due to pandemic covid – 19. The research was conducted of normative legal research, research that based on positive legal norms in the form of legislation. The result of the research is pandemic Covid – 19 can be categorized as a relative Force Majure so Contractor can temporarily suspend their work so that the Contractor stille continues responsibilities the completion of construction work, but delayed in fulfiling the obigation of completing Contuction Contract.
